Episode 102: Science & Engineering Challenge
Show Notes

The Science and Engineering Challenge is an outreach program to change students' perceptions of science and engineering. The day involves fun and competitive hands-on activities. It lets students see that science and engineering are more than just equations and theory but requires creativity, innovation, problem solving and teamwork!

We chat with students from Clarence High school, Montrose Bay High school, Oatlands District High School and Woodbridge School about what challenges they undertook and what they took away from the day.

The Challenge is coordinated by the University of Tasmania in collaboration with the University of Newcastle, and is supported by Rotary International Clubs (in Hobart, Launceston and North West Tasmania) with generous financial support from the Tasmanian Government, TasWater and the University of Tasmania.
